I would describe my art style as metaphorical surrealism. This is the idea that real life elements are blended with familiar images in a way that communicates a specific message.

In my case, I reimagine women as symbolic figures, embodying the characteristics of the objects I've paired them with - a sunflower for its optimism, an aloe vera plant for its healing nature, a butterfly for its transformative process.

When I think about personal growth and the idea of bettering ourselves, I look at what already exists in the world and how growth happens naturally. The way plants nurture and support each other, the adaptation and survival instincts of animals to their environment and the way things evolve over time.

Every piece I create stems from this thought process. I think about how I can turn the concepts that already exist in the World into visuals that remind us of our capabilities.

I hope you find a message here that you can hold on to (or gift!) that communicates your story and reminds you of who you are.
